My business has always been helping companies streamline and improve their security infrastructures. Having worked in the security industry for almost twenty years, I know the systems extensively and I’ve seen the solutions improve greatly over time—but nothing has forced a faster need for integration and evolution than the current pandemic. Everyone across the board has had to examine their business operations under a critical lens, but the situation really made me stop and rethink the function that security technologies can serve on a broader scale to help solve some of the unexpected daily safety and logistical challenges organizations are now facing. Ultimately, it also led me to partner with Paul in pursuing and adapting new security technology systems and software applications that meet the unique needs of a changing global marketplace. The bottom line is: there’s always a better way, and we’ll find it.

I’ve spent more than fifteen years of my career in the original equipment manufacturing (OEM) realm, helping industry leaders find ongoing ways to improve their products and processes. Sometimes it’s as simple as altering a design component, or rethinking a system from a leaner perspective, and in other cases, it requires a prototyped solution that is completely novel and beyond the box. In any scenario though, I try to bring a blended micro and macro worldview to achieve the best possible solution in form and function. Like many people, that worldview has changed dramatically since Covid-19 hit, but the shift has also enabled a more informed level of consciousness that I apply to all of my pursuits now. Knowing that Bryon shares the same vision and drive for improvement made the decision to partner an easy one—seeing the scale of positive impact these new safety and security applications can have is what makes it so exciting.
